Our SONGKRAN 2025 was WILD! This is why we LOVE Rural Thailand 🇹🇭

Hello everyone! IT’S SONGKRAN, Sawadee Pee Mai, this is Thailand’s new year festival where they celebrate with a giant water fight all across the country. The water symbolises washing away the past and bad fortunes to welcome in the new year with a fresh, clean start!

Last year we celebrated our first Songkran in Bangkok and this year we experienced what it’s like in Rural Thailand and we weren’t disappointed! Surin has many events on for Songkran and there’s so much to do, so you should definitely add it to your bucket list for next year!
